Who we are
Saoirse Software Limited, company no. 819296, Venture Hub, 136 Capel Street, Dublin 1, Ireland, is responsible for your data on this site. Questions or requests: support@saoirsesoftware.com.
What we receive and why
- Your papers (passport copy, birth certificate, bills, statements and the rest) — only to read them, check them against the official points table and build your pack.
- Your application date and route — to work out which years you need to prove.
- Your email address, which you give when you pay — only to send you the link to your check and, once, a request for a review.
- Your review, if you leave one — the stars count, without your name, in the average on our home page. Your text is shown there only if you tick the box to allow it, again without your name.
- Payment — handled by Stripe. We never see your card number.
We use this data because you asked us to do the check (performance of a contract, GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). We do not sell it, use it for advertising, or keep it for any other purpose.
Artificial intelligence
Every file is read by an AI model from Anthropic, which tells us what kind of document it is, whose name and address are on it, and its dates. Each file is read at least twice to catch mistakes. Anthropic processes the files for us and may not use them to train its models. No person looks at your papers unless you ask us for help and agree.
Who else handles your data
- Hetzner Online (Germany) — our server, where your files are stored, encrypted, while your check is open.
- Anthropic — the AI described above.
- Stripe — the payment.
- Atlassian — our help desk, only if you write to us through Help. Your papers are never attached.
Some of these companies are based in the United States. Where data leaves the European Economic Area, it does so under the safeguards the GDPR requires, such as the EU standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
- If you don't pay, your files and everything we read from them are deleted 1 day after your last upload.
- If you pay, they are deleted 30 days after payment, or straight away when you press “Delete my papers now” or ask for a refund.
- After that we keep only your email address, the date and the score of your check (without your name or address), and the payment records that tax law requires.
Your browser
This site does not use cookies or analytics of its own. When you pay, Stripe's payment form opens inside the page and Stripe may set its own cookies to prevent fraud. The page loads its typefaces from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when the page opens.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format: write to support@saoirsesoftware.com. You can also complain to the Irish Data Protection Commission (dataprotection.ie).
